Hobie Lance Cleat
The Hobie Lance Cleat cleat utilizes a single rugged aluminum alloy cam mounted vertically in a black molded frame. The rope slides in sideways and runs freely thru the fairlead, which has a colored roller incorporated in the top for easier sheeting and identification. Ideal for use in confined spaces. For use with 3/16 to 1/4″ line. The base is 22mm x 30mm.
They are color coded red on the port lance cleat and green on the starboard lance cleat for easy identification.
For many years in the ’80s they were stock on the Hobie 16 where they were used to control the jib traveler on the front crossbar.
