Hobie Getaway Forward Trampoline
Hobie Getaway Forward Trampoline is constructed of black polypropylene mesh just like the Hobie factory version. Polypropylene mesh is the ideal material for beach cat tramps because it is light, strong and comfortable with very good UV resistance, plus it allows water to drain, so you won’t be sitting in a puddle. This tramp is not made by Hobie Cat and is therefore is not legal for Hobie Class racing.
Murrays black mesh trampolines are more comfortable and will last 2-3 times as long as the factory nylon webbing trampolines.

Please select the years your Getaway was manufactured so that the bolt rope is the correct diameter.
Quick identifiers:
2000-2001 – trampoline track slot on the hulls is pointing upwards
2002-2016 – trampoline track slot on the hulls is angled downwards
2018+ – New wave penetrating style hulls with the lower portion of the bow extending past the top of the bow.
Thread: Teflon thread is much more UV resistant and extends the life of the tramp and is available for an additional charge. We primarily recommend the Teflon thread for boats that are left uncovered in the sun. UV exposure is the main thing that degrades the tramp stitching.
Life expectancy – if left mostly uncovered these should last 6-9 years, 12-16 years with teflon thread. If you cover them they can last 30 years.
