Use chain as a counter weight to keep a racing mark upright. This 3/16" PC proof coil (PC) chain has a 750lb. SWL, 3000 lb. breaking strength, and weighs 0.39lb./ft.
The chain is hot-dip galvanized, which is superior to zinc electroplating. Remember that the Safe Working Load (SWL) is a conservative rating for safety and should not be exceeded. Proof Coil (PC) is made of low-carbon steel and designed for ordinary marine applications, but not for use in most windlasses due to its long links. Sold by the foot.
